This caught my attention because Hypergryph is kicking Endfield off with a dense, pull-driven schedule: a hard-limited opener, then two limited headliners sharing the same window – plus familiar standard and newbie options. If you care about meta-defining six-star operators or want a smart early-account plan, these banner details matter.

Arknights Endfield launch banners – what’s available, when, and which to chase

  • Three limited banners confirmed: Laevatain (6★ Heat Caster) leads on Jan 22-Feb 7, then Gilberta (6★ Nature Supporter) and Yvonne (6★ Ice Caster) run Feb 7-26.
  • Standard + beginner pools: Both include Ardelia, Ember, Last Rite, Lifeng and Pgranichnik; beginner banner gives a one-time six-star weapon pick and disappears once you pull.
  • Pity and guarantees: Standard guarantees a banner character at 80 pulls and a Select Designation at 300; Laevatain’s banner includes a 30-pull free 10-pull (doesn’t count toward pity).
  • Limited operators stay in the general pool after debut: if you lose the 50/50, these operators enter the full pool until a rerun, so you can still pull them later.

What the confirmed limited banners look like

Hypergryph’s initial limited slate is compact but punchy. Scars of the Forge opens the game’s gacha with Laevatain (6★ Heat Caster) from Jan 22 to Feb 7, 2026. On Feb 7 two limited banners begin and share the same window through Feb 26: The Floaty Messenger (Gilberta, 6★ Nature Supporter) and Hues of Passion (Yvonne, 6★ Ice Caster). That means players will face a choice once Laevatain’s run ends: two attractive limited targets at the same time.

During CBT2 Hypergryph leaned on a repeatable pattern of including two boosted 5★s on limited banners (Avywenna and Arclight appeared in betas), and while the studio hasn’t publicly locked the boosted five-stars for the live banners, it’s reasonable to expect similar side characters when the banners go live. Keep an eye on the official reveal list for confirmation.

Pity, freebies and pool behavior – what to plan for

Two pull mechanics deserve attention. First, Laevatain’s banner includes a bonus: after 30 pulls you get a free 10-pull. It’s promotional (nice to have), but explicitly doesn’t count toward pity — so it’s pure extra attempt value, not a shortcut to guarantees.

Second, limited characters don’t vanish completely from the game after their initial run. Once a limited operator’s debut ends, that operator will move into the full character pool until a rerun. Practically, that means if you lose the 50/50 on a limited banner, you still have a chance to pull that operator from the general pool later — the operator isn’t strictly locked to reruns only.

Standard and beginner banners — guaranteed mechanics and early account value

The standard banner lists five 6★s: Ardelia (Nature, Supporter), Ember (Heat, Defender), Last Rite (Cryo, Striker), Lifeng (Physical, Guard) and Pgranichnik (Physical, Vanguard). The standard pool guarantees one of those characters after 80 pulls — a pretty player-friendly hard pity compared with some gachas — and if you still don’t get your target by 300 pulls you can use a Select Designation to pick it.

The beginner banner mirrors the standard roster in the live build, but with two critical differences: it disappears once you pull any one of the five characters, and it grants a bonus six-star weapon of your choice to jump-start your account. That weapon pick is the single most impactful beginner incentive here — it materially speeds up early progression and alleviates the immediate pressure to re-roll.

My take: who should chase what

If you’re aiming for long-term meta staples, prioritize limiteds — Laevatain, Gilberta and Yvonne look built to be high-impact casters/supporters. The early free 10-pull on Laevatain is tempting, but don’t mistake it for pity — it’s a bonus, not a guarantee. The overlap of two limited banners (Gilberta and Yvonne) after Feb 7 is the biggest strategic wrinkle: if both are must-haves for you, be prepared for split resources and hard choices.

For new players or those on a budget, the beginner banner’s one-time six-star weapon pick is the most efficient value-per-dollar move. The standard banner’s 80-pull guarantee is also useful if you prefer predictable progression toward a specific roster piece without chasing the limited meta.

What this means for players

  • PvE/PvP planners: expect meta-defining casters and supporters from the limited lineup; prioritize accordingly.
  • F2P / budget players: use the beginner weapon pick and conservative pulls on the standard banner — don’t chase simultaneous limiteds unless you have a clear plan.
  • Collectors: limiteds entering the general pool after debut reduce the pressure to hit the 50/50, but reruns remain the most reliable way to secure a targeted limited quickly.

Bottom line: Hypergryph’s launch schedule gives you clear trade-offs — flashy limited targets versus a steady standard pool and a generous beginner boost. Plan pulls around those windows, and don’t let simultaneous limiteds split your resources unexpectedly.

TL;DR

  • Launch limiteds: Laevatain (6★ Heat Caster) Jan 22-Feb 7; Gilberta (6★ Nature Supporter) and Yvonne (6★ Ice Caster) both Feb 7–26.
  • Standard & beginner banners: Ardelia, Ember, Last Rite, Lifeng, Pgranichnik. Standard guarantees at 80 pulls; 300 pulls leads to Select Designation. Beginner banner disappears after one pull and gives a six-star weapon choice.
  • Strategy: chase limiteds for meta impact, use the beginner weapon for fast progression, and beware the Feb 7 overlap that can stretch resources.
