This isn’t a cosmetic re-tag of server names – the March 12 merge unites NA-West, NA-East and SA-East into a single Americas region (US Central local time), collapses multiple Auction Houses, and wipes a boatload of market, leaderboard and guild state data. If you trade, siege, or lead a guild, this will change how you play.
The consolidation increases the per-region character cap to six and preserves characters — so your toons aren’t deleted — but the in-game economy gets a hard reset. In the Americas there will be two Auction Houses after maintenance: one for the PlayStation-only server and one for all non-PlayStation servers. Europe Central and AP Northeast each retain a single Auction House, and the separate PlayStation Auction House in those regions is removed.
Practical consequence: favorite-item lists and historical price charts are wiped. Everything you relied on to judge “fair” prices disappears, and the market effectively reboots. Posted items go back to storage and the game will reimburse Lucent fees — that’s the developer’s nod that some short-term pain is incoming.

Guild-level data is partly preserved but rankings are not. Guild level stays, but reputation (last seven days), activity/kill rankings and guild ranking scores will be reset and recalculated from new activity points after the merge. Ownership of Boonstones, Riftstones and Castles will be reset, and the Castle Legion ownership and Lucent/Sollant tax totals will be rolled into the new server castle. Translation: if you’re defending territory, don’t assume your hold is safe — everything that matters for bragging rights and siege privileges is going to be re-contested.

All PlayStation-only servers in the Americas (NAW, NAE, SAE) will be merged into a single Americas PlayStation-only server. EU and APAC PlayStation-only servers will be folded into general servers and cease to exist; affected EU/APAC PlayStation players will be given a server transfer ticket if they want to join the Americas PlayStation-only server. That raises timezone and latency questions — the consolidated region will use US Central time for event scheduling — so expect some friction for players outside the Americas.

This kind of consolidation is a blunt tool: it reduces server fragmentation, concentrates population, and makes Siege and Auction House activity more competitive — which can be good for content that needs players. But the cost is disruption. Resetting price histories and leaderboards wipes months of community data; guild hierarchies could be torn down overnight. It’s the classic trade-off for long-running live services trying to keep servers lively without burning resources on underpopulated shards.
Final server names and the adjusted event schedule will be posted one week before March 12. That’s when you should decide whether to transfer, withdraw auctions, or reposition your guild for post-merge sieges. Short version: backup your economy, check guild standings now, and brace for a market and ranking reset that will rewrite the social map of your server.
March 12’s Americas consolidation merges NA and SA servers into one region, consolidates Auction Houses, resets market history and leaderboards, and forces major guild/ownership recalculations. Final details and event times land one week before the merge — act then or get left scrambling.
