Bizarre Lineage Codes and Stand Essence: What to Redeem and How to Spend It (July 2026)

Short version, because that is what you came for: Bizarre Lineage no longer uses the old !code chat command. As of the July 2026 build you redeem codes from the in-game menu → Shop → scroll to the bottom → Codes box, you need to be Level 10, and you still have to have joined the Bizarre Collective group and liked the game on its Roblox page. Codes hand out Essences, Stand Arrows, Face Rerolls and Chests – and the Essences are the part most players waste.

This guide is the Essence half of the story: which codes hand out which Essence, what each Essence actually does to your Stand, and the order I spend them in so nothing gets burned on a build I abandon two hours later. What changed in 2026 (and why old guides fail you)

Two things moved under everyone’s feet this year:

• The redemption method. Early 2026 videos and articles – including our own March write-up – showed the !code chat prefix, because at that point the game genuinely had no codes UI. A mini update on 8 March 2026 added a proper code system, and every guide published from May 2026 onward walks through the Shop’s Codes box instead. If you are still typing !code 100kLikes into chat, nothing will happen.
• The content underneath. Update 1 landed on 18 April 2026 and it was large: Dolphin State Prison and Cape Canaveral (Stone Ocean areas), plus The World Overheaven, Made in Heaven, Star Platinum: The World, Silver Chariot, Silver Chariot: Requiem, Death 13 and Planet Waves as new Stands, along with new fighting styles, raids, 1v1 maps, perks and two overworld events. That reshuffled which stat spreads are worth chasing.

Since then the game has gone into maintenance for Update 2, teased as a Part 5 / Italy-themed patch with Sticky Fingers, Aerosmith, Green Day and Notorious B.I.G. There is no announced release date, so expect servers to blink in and out while that lands.

Which codes give which Essence

These are the codes reported active across the major trackers in July 2026. Reward specifics are only listed where a tracker publishes an itemised breakdown – several codes are only ever described as “free rewards”, and I would rather say so than invent contents.

Honest caveat, verified July 2026: the trackers disagree. Dexerto, PCGamesN and GamesRadar now show 30kLikes, 100kLikes, shutdownwoops and 1week in strikethrough “expired” blocks, while TryHardGuides, Destructoid and GameBoost all state flatly that Bizarre Lineage has no expired codes and the game’s own code page still lists those four as Active. Bloxodes and Gachapocket, the two most recently re-checked lists (24 July and 6 July 2026), also mark 750LikesforNextCode and Update2=2027 as expired. There is no way to settle that from the outside. Paste all of them; a dead code costs you three seconds.

Redeeming, in 2026 terms

• Reach Level 10. Below that the code box either does not appear or refuses input – this is the single most common “codes are broken” report.
• Join the Bizarre Collective group from the experience page, and complete any Roblox verification prompt it throws. Codes fail server-side without membership.
• Like the game. Codes are tied to like milestones, and the check is enforced.
• Have chat enabled on the account. It is no longer the redemption channel, but the system still keys off chat permission, so heavily restricted or unverified accounts still hit walls.
• In game: press M or hit the menu button, open Shop, scroll all the way down, paste the code, press Redeem Code.

What each Essence actually does – and the order to spend them

The names are vague and the game does not explain them, which is why so many people dump them the second they land. Essences are consumables that adjust a specific axis of your character or Stand:

Stat Point Essence

Adds points to your character’s stat pool, not your Stand’s. This is the one to spend immediately – character stats gate what content you can survive long enough to farm, and there is no build you can regret here. If you are pre-Level 10 and grinding toward the code box, everything you earn should be going into raw stats anyway.

Stand Stat Essence

Pushes your Stand’s numbers rather than your character’s. This is the one worth holding. Update 1 added seven Stands, and Stand quality is rolled – there is no point pouring Stand stats into a placeholder you will re-roll away with a Stand Arrow next session. Hold it until you have a Stand you intend to keep.

Stand Personality Essence (and Lucky Personality Essence)

Adjusts Stand personality traits. Same rule: personality shapes how a Stand feels to play, so spending it before you have settled on a Stand is throwing it away. The Lucky variant from Delay1 is the scarcer of the two – treat it as the last thing you consume.

Stand Arrows and Face Rerolls

Arrows re-roll your Stand; Lucky Arrows bias that roll. Face Rerolls change appearance only. The practical sequencing that saves the most time: Arrows first, then Stand Essences. Roll until you have the Stand you want, then commit the Stand Stat and Personality Essences into it. Doing it the other way around is the single most common way players burn a code haul.

How new codes arrive

The developers tie code drops to Roblox like milestones rather than a calendar. Early milestones were 20k, 100k and 200k likes; later confirmed targets were 200k, 300k and 500k, and the code names since (250kLikes, 500kLikes, 750LikesforNextCode) follow the same pattern. Distribution sometimes lags the milestone by days, and announcements go out through the official Discord first. Practically: when the game crosses a round like number, check back within the week.

Why does the code box not appear in my Shop?

Almost always the Level 10 gate. Confirm your level before assuming the code is dead.

Do codes work more than once per account?

No – one redemption per account per code, and it applies across your slots, not per slot.

Are the Essences from codes worse than farmed ones?

No source describes a difference in quality. They appear to be the same items, just handed to you.

Is the game dead because servers keep going down?

No. The developers took the game into maintenance to finish Update 2 – Part 5 content with Sticky Fingers, Aerosmith, Green Day and Notorious B.I.G. teased. Downtime here is a build, not an abandonment.
