At roughly 3.05 GB and 296 listed changes, Black Desert PC’s Edania: Inner Castle update is a substantial endgame expansion rather than a standalone grind spot. Its six hunting grounds are built around combat-stat recommendations, with the game warning that players below those thresholds face serious danger.
Inner Edania is anchored by Angavu Outpost, a new central village accessed through the Abyssal Veins questline. The six zones are Afrodone Temple, Emesia Inner Castle, Magaia Temple, Aresion Temple, Scales of Judgment, and Event Horizon. There are also 28 regional side quests, new production bases, and residences that can add warehouse and worker capacity. Every Inner Edania node costs one Contribution Point, keeping the region’s infrastructure entry cost low even as its combat demands rise.

The core PvE targets are Agris, Markthanan, Elion, and Aal. Their subjugations create a boss-focused progression lane alongside the hunting grounds, with weekly boss and monster-elimination quests available in the region. Defeating the four bosses is tied to eligibility for the Edana Throne challenge, though the update does not spell out the throne’s exact entry rules or whether additional progression gates apply.

Two accessories, Ekleta and Apeiron, arrive with the update and sit above Karazad in the new gear progression tier. At maximum enhancement, Ekleta and Apeiron have identical stats. Apeiron can drop from Inner Edania monsters and be listed on the marketplace; its enhancement uses an unenhanced accessory of the same slot and type. Exact drop rates and stat values have not been detailed.
