Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
Developed by Treyarch and Raven, Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller set in the early 90s, a period of transition and upheaval in global politics, characteriz…
This one got my attention because Call of Duty is overflowing with paid cosmetics, yet Treyarch still slips in dumb, delightful secrets you can unlock just by playing. On Black Ops 6’s Zombies map Reckoning, there’s a chicken wing Easter egg tucked inside the T2 Presidential Suite break room. It won’t boost your damage, it won’t open some god-tier side quest-but it will let you strut around with a literal bucket of chicken on your head. And honestly? That kind of energy is peak Zombies culture.
Head to the T2 Presidential Suite and find the small break room. Inside, you’ll spot a bucket of chicken-your target. Toss a grenade right onto that bucket to kick things off. You don’t need to tour the whole map or clear any obscure prerequisites; the entire Easter egg plays out in this one space, which is refreshing if you’ve ever spent an hour chasing teddy bears to unlock a three-minute music track.
After the explosion, six chicken wings will appear in the same room. Grab them all. They’re mostly visible, but a couple are sneaky enough to make you feel like you’re failing a pixel-hunt from 2010. Here’s exactly where to look:

Once you’ve nabbed all six, look to the counter again: a fresh chicken bucket will appear. Interact with it to equip the most ridiculous headwear in BO6. There’s no buff, no hidden upgrade—just vibes. Your teammates will see it, which is really the point.
Let’s be clear: this doesn’t change the meta, unlock a wonder weapon, or stack with perks. It’s a joke—one that lands. In a mode that’s increasingly about efficiency (routes, round timers, camo grinds), this is a reminder of why Zombies has lasted: the community loves secrets, especially the dumb ones. Treyarch has always balanced epic, multi-step quests with playful one-room gags, and this sits squarely in the latter camp. Think of it as your in-match badge of chaos while you kite a train through the suite.

What I like most is that it’s discovery-based and costs nothing. In a season where the store rotates five new hats a week, stumbling into a free, squad-visible cosmetic just by exploring a room feels like an intentional nod to long-time fans. It’s not prestige; it’s personality.
Reckoning is a dense map with enough pressure points that a throwaway laugh helps reset the mood—especially for squads learning routes or grinding camos. Not every Easter egg needs a spreadsheet and a PhD in cipher lore. Sometimes, you just want to show up to the next hold with fast food on your head and dare the squad to keep a straight face. That’s the kind of community moment Zombies is built on, and it’s nice to see BO6 still making space for it.

On BO6’s Reckoning, head to the T2 Presidential Suite break room, grenade the chicken bucket, collect six chicken wings in that same room, then equip the bucket that spawns on the counter. It’s useless, it’s hilarious, and it’s peak Treyarch. Do it early, do it safely, and enjoy the screenshots.
