The near-term priority is Bounty Pack 4, not the larger Story Pack expansion. Its July 30 release gives Vault Hunters a new repeatable activity and reward track before September’s more substantial DLC shift, making it the practical place to test builds, tighten farming routes and collect Vault Card 4 rewards.
Bounty Pack 4 launches alongside update v1.10. The paid add-on expands the Bounty Pack cadence with a choice-driven narrative mission designed for repeat runs, plus new loot targets and Vault Card progression. The new content includes a fresh zone, enemies and boss encounters, creating a clearer farm loop than a one-and-done story detour.
That timing matters for players who want to prepare efficiently rather than wait for the next major expansion. Vault Card 4 is the immediate reward layer to check, while the repeatable mission offers a reason to revisit class setups, gear combinations and run efficiency during the gap before Story Pack 2.

Story Pack 2: FL4K and the Last Resort arrives September 10. It brings back FL4K, the robotic Beastmaster from Borderlands 3, and introduces Loveless as a new playable Vault Hunter. Loveless is a hacker, adding a new character option to the game’s Vault Hunter roster rather than limiting the expansion to missions and gear.
The expansion is also tied to Mad Ellie and the Last Resort storyline, positioning it as the bigger content update after July’s bounty-focused release. For Super Deluxe Edition owners, the two releases show the intended rhythm: a smaller repeatable-content drop first, then a story expansion with a returning franchise character and a new Vault Hunter.
Watch for the full Bounty Pack 4 reward list and v1.10 changes on July 30, then for the complete Loveless skill details and Story Pack 2 loot pool ahead of September 10.
