The Ascension Needle and the Celestial (Crescent) Bridge in Chapter 5 look straightforward, but the game gives you almost no guidance and lets you interact with things that can quietly break the puzzles. I burned time trying to open the blocked front door, pulled out the wrong batteries, and even rode the elevator up without being on it myself.
This guide walks you, in order, from the base of the Ascension Needle all the way to the teleporter that drops you at the Invocacuervos arena. I’ll flag exactly which orbs and batteries you must not touch, where to activate fast travel, and how to handle the platforming so you don’t have to redo anything.
Once you’re inside the Needle/Bridge sequence, there are no merchants and almost no safe breaks until the boss area. I strongly recommend:
On controller, Axiomatic Force is generally bound to clicking L3 and then using triggers + right stick to push/pull or rotate. On keyboard/mouse, check your bindings, but the idea is always: activate Force → grab object → rotate/move with your aim controls.
The obvious front gate of the tower is destroyed and blocked. Don’t waste time trying to clear the rubble; you can’t. You have two real options, and they both end up in the same basement room.
This was the first route I used, and it’s more scenic but uses more stamina:
If you ever feel like you’re hanging too long with low stamina, drop back to the last safe ledge, rest, then try again. Getting greedy is how I fell all the way down twice.
This is faster and avoids the long climb:
Either way, you end up in the same basement room with a big blue fan in the floor and two blue orbs in the wall. This is where the actual puzzle chain starts.
This first bit is easy to overlook if you don’t realize the fan is an elevator.
Critical warning: do not yank out the two blue energy orbs in this basement. They power the fan. If you pull them, the fan dies and your “shortcut” becomes a lot of painful climbing. Leave them alone for this entire sequence.
On this first interior level, you’ll see a wall of rotating panel pieces that look like little windmills or vents, with electric lines running through them. This is your first real Axiomatic Force exercise.
The goal: route power from the lower-left conduit to the lower-right conduit by rotating the panels so the glowing energy line passes through all the pieces and reaches the other side.

L3 or your Force key).Once power makes a continuous path across the array, a stone platform elevator rises from the floor.
If you make the same mistake I did and let the platform ride up without you, just intentionally break the connection by rotating one panel out of place. The platform will drop back down. Get on it, then restore the correct rotation to send it (and you) up.
The elevator takes you to a higher floor with a large circular mechanism on the wall, divided into three “tracks” of electricity: left, center/bottom, and right.
The goal here is to rotate the inner dials so that all three tracks are powered at once. When done correctly, the final elevator to the top of the Needle will activate.
When all three routes are lit, you’ll hear/see the mechanism lock in and the main elevator platform will be ready nearby.
Important battery warning: there’s a tempting battery/orb on the wall just below this floor. Don’t remove it. That one powers the circular mechanism you just solved. If you yank it, you risk deactivating the puzzle and confusing yourself into thinking it’s bugged.
Step onto the newly activated elevator platform and simply stay put. The ride is long (around a couple of minutes) and you don’t need to do anything mid-ascent.

At the top, you’ll be automatically funneled out of the Needle into the Abyss area where the Celestial (Crescent) Bridge is suspended. From here, every mistake can mean a long fall, so stay patient.

Your first instinct will probably be to play with the giant orb directly in front of you. Resist that for a second.
If you fall later (and you probably will at least once), this fast travel plate is what saves you from repeating the entire Needle segment.
You now need to get to the upper ring platform above and behind the central orb, where two more laser orbs are waiting.
Up here you’ll find two additional orbs, left and right, each firing a laser. Your job is to aim each one so its beam hits a yellow crystal/gem on the opposite structure. When aligned correctly, the gem turns blue.
Once all three orbs (the original lower one and the two upper ones) are correctly aligned, you’re ready for the cable repair section.
From the upper central area, you need to cross to the opposite side of the Bridge structure.
On the far side, the puzzle shifts from lasers to energy cables. This is where a lot of people (including me) assume something is bugged, because one cable is quite well hidden.
First, turn on your lantern (on console this is usually a two-button combo like L1 + R1 / LB + RB; on PC, use your bound lantern key). With the lantern on:
There are exactly two broken cables to fix:
If all lasers are aligned and both cables are repaired, the central circular gate at the far end will power up automatically with a cutscene.

Keep the lantern on while moving around here: it also reveals blue, poisonous flowers on the walkways that are very hard to see otherwise and will drain your health when stepped on.
With power flowing, head to the now-active circular panel at the back.
From here, follow the newly opened path forward: you’ll see a triangular portal and, shortly after, a mechanism that rises from the ground.
Grab this mechanism with Axiomatic Force and slowly rotate it until the game “snaps” it into a correct alignment, spawning a sequence of platforms ahead. If you overshoot, just rotate back-there’s no penalty other than time.
Use the wind generators and your glide to ride up through the rest of the Bridge. At the very end there’s a <strongblue pad<="" strong="" teleport=""> on the floor; stepping on it will send you to the Invocacuervos approach area.
You’ll appear near a large, ominous tree where the boss encounter eventually happens, but don’t walk straight to the tree yet.
Now, if the Invocacuervos fight goes badly on your first tries, you respawn right at this plate instead of having to redo any part of the Needle or Celestial Bridge. This single step saves a huge amount of frustration.
If you follow this route and resist the urge to pull every battery you see, you can clear the entire Ascension Needle and Celestial Bridge chain cleanly and be standing at the Invocacuervos fast travel plate without any wasted loops or soft-lock scares.
