Dawnwalker’s 60 FPS Mode Is Real—But It Depends on the Day-One Patch
I watched the earlier 30 FPS and 40 FPS console footage with the same immediate question many RPG players had: where was the 60 FPS option? Rebel Wolves has now answered it, but with one vital condition — the smoothest console mode is part of The Blood of Dawnwalker’s day-one patch, not the unpatched game install.
That changes the launch-day equation on PlayStation 5, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X. The previous two-mode setup capped players at 40 FPS in Balanced Mode or 30 FPS in Quality Mode. At release on September 3, the patched game will add Performance Mode targeting 60 FPS, giving players a clearer choice between responsiveness and image quality in Rebel Wolves’ action RPG.

The patch requirement matters most to disc-first and offline players.
