When Behaviour drops a bombshell about Dead by Daylight, you know it’s going to send shockwaves through the horror community. After years of ducking The Huntress’s hatchets and grinding every summer event, the news that Twisted Masquerade 2025 will be the last one ever is a gut punch. What began as a playful cosmetics chase has become a beloved tradition—so this finale feels extra special, and frankly, a little bittersweet.

Dead by Daylight Twisted Masquerade 2025 – The Ultimate Send-Off

  • Event kicks off June 26, 2025: Every character finally gets a mask or outfit—no more waiting your turn.
  • Quality of life upgrades: Tweaks to hooks and “tricks” make matches fairer and more dynamic.
  • Trix returns: Our favorite chaos-bringer rolls out new wildcard effects all match long.
  • Last chance to complete your collection: Grab every Masquerade skin before the event retires for good.

A Proper Send-Off, Not a Cash-Grab

Confession time: I braced for a cynical FOMO cash-in. But this year, Behaviour’s true to their word with meaningful improvements instead of just re-selling old cosmetics. Instant hooks are dialed back so survivors can actually use those flashlight saves. And every past Masquerade outfit returns to the shop—no more “I missed it!” regrets.

Trix Is Back to Stir the Pot

If there’s one highlight, it’s Trix. Introduced last year, she’s the non-killer NPC you love to hate (and vice versa). With her snarky commentary and random bonuses—think extra chests, perk boosts and objective buffs—every match has a fresh jolt of chaos. And as survivors hit objectives, Trix only ramps up the mayhem.

Who’s Finally Getting Masked?

This is a completionist’s dream. OG survivors like Jake Park, Claudette Morel and The Spirit all score Masquerade outfits, plus underplayed characters such as Sable Ward and Taurie Cain. Classic killers—the Trapper, the Nurse—get new themed weapons. David King and The Wraith aren’t left out either, with dedicated quests unlocking their masks. Licensed favorites even show up in the shop for those willing to spend.

Last Call or Just FOMO?

On the surface it’s cosmetic overload, but Twisted Masquerade became more than bling. It turned the summer lull into an annual must-play ritual. This finale hints at bigger, bolder anniversary celebrations ahead. If you’ve ever loved the rush of a masked ball in The Fog, now’s your last shot to dive in and complete your collection.

TL;DR – Your Final Twisted Masquerade Checklist

  • June 26, 2025: Final event launch—every past mask and outfit returns.
  • Fairer gameplay: Hook and trick tweaks for better survivor-killer balance.
  • Trix brings new surprises: Expect chaos from start to finish.
  • Full completion unlocked: OG survivors, killers and shop exclusives alike.
  • This is the last Twisted Masquerade—don’t miss it. Gear up, squad up, and meet us in The Fog one final time.
