Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Gets Daima Saga DLC This July
Goku’s misadventures are far from over. Bandai Namco is bringing the demonic realm of Dragon Ball Daima to Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot in a brand-new, two-part DLC. The first slice of chaos, “Aventure dans le Domaine des Démons – Part 1,” launches July 17, with the epic conclusion scheduled sometime in early 2026.
What’s in Store for Z-Fighters?
Whether you’re a seasoned Saiyan or still learning to fly, this expansion lets you relive Goku’s pint-sized journey through the Daima universe, joining forces with Glorio, Pansie, and Supreme Kai Shin. It’s the first major content drop for Kakarot in over a year and gives fans a chance to experience Daima’s story fresh off the anime’s 2024 finale.

Daima Saga DLC – Editions and Pricing
- Two-Part DLC: First half drops July 17; Part II arrives early 2026
- Complete Pack: Both episodes bundled for €34.99
- Daima Edition: Includes the base game and full Daima DLC pass; digital for all platforms, boxed version arrives July 18
- Platform Bonus: Only the Nintendo Switch Daima Edition includes the older “Un nouveau pouvoir s’éveille” (A New Power Awakens) DLC; PlayStation 5 owners will need to buy it separately
Classic Action, Fresh Story
The Daima expansion promises new playable chapters starring Mini Goku and his Demon Realm rivals—showcasing some of Akira Toriyama’s last creative flourishes. Expect vibrant environments, new enemy types, and a storyline that weaves directly into the anime arc, offering more than just a retread for longtime fans.

Why Jump Back In?
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has quietly built a reputation as the Dragon Ball game for story lovers, blending open-world exploration with RPG mechanics—standing apart from the usual arena brawlers. The Daima DLC isn’t reinventing the Kamehameha, but it’s handing fans an excuse to revisit Kakarot’s world, now expanded with new powers and recent lore.
