Why Dungeon Heroes Codes Matter (and Why I Rush to Use Them)

After spending way too many runs faceplanting in later Dungeon Heroes dungeons, I stopped sleeping on codes. A few extra Health Potions or a Cappuccino buff often meant the difference between barely timing out on a boss and clearing it with seconds to spare.

This guide is based on my own runs and code testing as of March 7, 2026. I’ll walk you through:

  • The latest working Dungeon Heroes codes (including BANANA and MONKEE)
  • Limited-use and expired codes you can safely ignore
  • Exactly how to redeem codes in-game, step by step
  • Why codes sometimes fail and how to fix common issues
  • Where I actually find new codes first without wasting time

If you redeem everything here in one go, you’re looking at just a couple of minutes of work for a bunch of free potions, boosts, crystals, and cosmetics. Let’s start with the codes that are worth your time right now.

Working Dungeon Heroes Codes (March 2026)

These are the codes that are currently working for me as of early March 2026. Most of them give a mix of Health Potions, Cappuccinos (for damage boosts), crystals, and other “freebies.” Exact rewards can shift a bit over time, but they’re all worth redeeming.

  • BANANA – Freebies (NEW; currently gave me Cappuccino + crystals)
  • MONKEE – Freebies (NEW; general boost items)
  • INSANITY – Freebies
  • CUPID – Freebies (event-themed rewards)
  • VALENTINE – Freebies
  • DELAY123 – Freebies (similar to older DELAY codes)
  • FRAGMENTED – 3x Health Potions + 3x Cappuccinos
  • DREADFUL – Ghostly Chain aura cosmetic + boosters
  • DEATHMARCH – Freebies
  • EYES – Freebies
  • BUGFIX – Freebies (often dropped after a patch)
  • FIRED_UP – Freebies
  • NEWYEAR – Freebies
  • 2026 – Freebies
  • KRAMPUS – Freebies (winter-themed rewards)

My advice is to redeem these in one sitting. Open the game, go down the list, and copy–paste each one exactly as shown. Codes in Dungeon Heroes don’t usually stick around forever, and I’ve seen several of the older ones vanish without warning.

Limited-Use and “Maybe Working” Codes

This next batch is where things get messy. Some of these codes were tied to specific events or had hard caps on how many people could redeem them. I’ve had mixed results with them across servers, and by March 7, 2026, most were either dead or extremely unreliable.

  • SQUIRREL – Freebies, but limited to 50 total uses. By now it’s almost certainly gone, but if you haven’t tried it yet, there’s no harm in entering it once.
  • FESTIVE – Holiday freebies; appears to be expired in my testing.
  • DELAY_HEROES – Older “delay apology” style code; likely expired.
  • GHOSTLY – Event code; may be tied to an old Halloween window.
  • THANKSGIVING – Seasonal; not working for me anymore.
  • NIGHTMARE – Endgame/seasonal freebies; no longer worked on my servers.
  • SORRYDELAY – Compensation style code; appears dead.
  • DELAYHERO – Older version of the delay codes; not working in my tests.
  • SPOOOKY – Halloween event; likely expired.
  • PUMPKING – Halloween event; likely expired.
  • SHRIMPLY – Event code; may be fully expired.
  • BOO – Halloween; not working for me.
  • HALLOWSEVE – Halloween; not working for me.
  • HALLOWEENHYPE – Halloween; not working for me.
  • AVAST – Themed freebies; appears expired.
  • EYESEEYOU – Themed freebies; not working in my tests.
  • SMILE2 – Older freebie; appears expired.
  • SMILE – Older freebie; appears expired.
  • SHORTWEEK – Patch-week style code; likely expired.
  • BBQ – Seasonal; not working in my tests.
  • EARLYBIRD – Early-player freebie; expired.
  • GITGUD – Joke/alpha-era reward; expired.
  • GULLIBLE – Joke/alpha-era reward; expired.

You can still try these if you want, but go in expecting the “Invalid or expired code” message. I treat this list more as a reference so I don’t waste time getting baited by outdated posts repeating them as “new.”

Fully Expired Alpha / Legacy Codes

These are the ones I consider fully dead. You might still see them floating around in really old videos or posts, but every time I’ve tried them in 2026 they’ve been 100% non-functional.

  • SKILLISSUE – Used to work; now expired.
  • SORRY – Previously gave 1 Cappuccino + crystals; now expired.
  • EPICGAMER – Used to grant 5 Refined Health Potions; now expired.
  • Older codes like YODAWG and some early seasonal codes (such as CHRISTMAS) are also long gone.

If a code is in this section, I don’t even bother typing it in anymore. Focus your time on the working list instead.

How to Redeem Codes in Dungeon Heroes (Step-by-Step)

I’ll be honest: the first time I played, I completely missed where you even put codes in. The Rewards button is easy to overlook, especially on smaller screens. Here’s the exact flow I use now:

  • Step 1 – Launch the correct game
Open Roblox, search for “Dungeon Heroes” by Twin Atlas, and join that experience. There are a few similarly named games, so double-check the developer name.
  • Step 2 – Find the Rewards button
Once you load into the lobby, look on the right-hand side of your screen for a Rewards button.
If you don’t see it, tap or click the small left arrow to cycle the side menu until the Rewards icon appears.
  • Step 3 – Open the code entry box
Click or tap Rewards. A window will pop up with a text field labeled something like Enter a code!.
  • Step 4 – Enter a code exactly
Click into the text field, then copy–paste a code from the working list above, for example FRAGMENTED. I highly recommend copy–pasting to avoid typos or wrong capitalization.
  • Step 5 – Claim the reward
Once the code is entered, hit the green Claim button. If the code is valid on your current server, you’ll instantly see a confirmation and the items will be added to your inventory.
  • Step 6 – Repeat for remaining codes
Go down the list and redeem them one by one. I usually start with codes that give potions and boosts so I can jump straight into a dungeon afterward.

Redeeming the full batch of active codes usually takes me two to three minutes, tops. I like to do it right before a tough boss push so I know my potion stash is topped up.

Why Codes Sometimes Don’t Work (and How I Fix It)

Dungeon Heroes is pretty typical of Roblox games when it comes to codes: sometimes a code looks fine but still refuses to work. Here are the main issues I’ve run into and how I deal with them.

  • 1. Typos and case sensitivity
If you type monkee instead of MONKEE, the game might treat it as invalid. Same with extra spaces before or after the code.
Fix: Always copy–paste directly from a trusted list. Double-check you didn’t grab an extra space at the end.
  • 2. The code really is expired
Dungeon Heroes codes often disappear quietly. I’ve had codes work in the morning and die by the evening after a server-side change.
Fix: If the game says “Invalid” or “Expired” and you know you typed it correctly, there’s nothing to do but move on. Prioritize the newer codes like BANANA, MONKEE, and INSANITY.
  • 3. You’re on an outdated server
This one has bitten me more than once. A brand-new code gets announced, but it doesn’t work on some servers right away because they’re still running an older build.
Fix: Leave the game and rejoin from the Roblox game page to hop into a fresh server. In stubborn cases, I fully close Roblox and relaunch it, then try the code again.
  • 4. You already redeemed it
The game doesn’t always make this super obvious; sometimes it just tells you the code is invalid.
Fix: Keep a small note or mental list of what you’ve used. I usually redeem everything in one sitting and then don’t worry about it until a new batch of codes appears.

If you’ve triple-checked spelling, switched servers, and a code still refuses to go through, assume it has been disabled and focus on the ones that are still paying out.

How I Find New Dungeon Heroes Codes Quickly

I got tired of manually searching every time I logged in, so I started paying attention to where new codes actually show up first. Here’s what’s worked best for me:

  • Follow the official Roblox group and socials
The developer, Twin Atlas, tends to push codes alongside updates, events, or bugfix patches. Check the game’s Roblox group page and any linked social profiles periodically.
  • Watch for big updates and patches
Whenever I see a noticeable change in-game (new dungeon, new boss, balance patch), I immediately check for fresh codes. That’s how I caught BANANA and MONKEE early.
  • Holiday and event windows
Valentine’s, winter holidays, and Halloween seasons have all brought codes like VALENTINE, CUPID, and the various spooky ones. Around those times, I make a point to log in even if I’m not actively grinding.
  • Compensation after issues
When there are obvious server problems or long downtime, I keep an eye out for “SORRY” or “DELAY”-style codes. That’s usually when we get a few extra potions or crystals as an apology.
  • Community chatter
If you’re in any Roblox or Dungeon Heroes communities (Discords, group chats, etc.), codes spread fast there. I’ve often heard about new ones from other players in lobby chat before I see them anywhere else.

The key is timing. Codes can go from “brand new” to “expired” in a few days, especially the smaller or event-limited ones. If you see a fresh code announcement, redeem it immediately rather than saving it for later.

Quick Recap and Next Steps

If you’ve followed along up to this point, you should have:

  • Redeemed all the working codes like BANANA, MONKEE, FRAGMENTED, and DREADFUL
  • Stopped wasting time on dead codes like SKILLISSUE, SORRY, and EPICGAMER
  • Learned how to fix common code problems by server-hopping and avoiding typos
  • Set yourself up to catch future codes early around updates and events

From here, I’d recommend jumping straight into a few dungeon runs while your inventory and buffs are freshly topped up. Use those extra Health Potions to practice harder bosses or tighter time limits you were avoiding before. If these codes helped me push through walls in Dungeon Heroes, they can absolutely give you that same edge.
