Series 4’s Summer Festival Playlist sends the 2013 Wuling Sunshine S to one of the Japan map’s biggest agricultural landmarks for #SunnySnap. The fast answer is to open the map in Hokubu, look south of Hokubu Circuit, then place a waypoint on the huge solid-yellow field west of Irabuohashi Bridge. That field is Hokuryu Sunflower Farm.
Park on the road bordering the field or near the two-storey building at its southwest corner, keep both the Wuling and sunflowers in the frame, then take the Photo Mode shot. You do not need to force the van through the crop rows, and doing so can make it harder to frame enough of the farm for the location check.
The #SunnySnap weekly Photo Challenge is in the Series 4 Summer Festival Playlist. It has two mandatory conditions: use the correct vehicle and capture the correct place. The game will only complete the challenge after both conditions register on the Photo Challenge overlay.
The Wuling Sunshine S is available from the Autoshow for a low credit cost, so there is no reason to substitute another van or a similar-looking car. #SunnySnap checks the exact model year and vehicle. A different car can still register the farm location, but the vehicle box will remain unchecked and no playlist reward will be granted.
Hokuryu Sunflower Farm has no dedicated map label, discovery marker, or searchable landmark pin. The map shape is the important part: it is a broad, bright-yellow patch in southern Hokubu, surrounded by darker fields and roads.
Fast-travel trap: arriving at Sunflower Charge or the Horizon Invitational only puts you near the correct area. The challenge is tied to the sunflower field itself. Drive into the yellow-field boundary and make sure the flowers are visible behind the Wuling before opening Photo Mode.

The clean backup method is to locate Shikisai-no-oka first. This north-Hokubu flower field is easy to identify because it appears as distinct multicoloured stripes rather than one solid colour. Once it is on screen, move the map cursor directly southeast.
The solid yellow field immediately southeast of Shikisai-no-oka is Hokuryu Sunflower Farm. If the striped field is northwest and the large yellow field is southeast, you have the right destination. This is more dependable than navigating from a nearby race icon, especially when map icons overlap the local roads.
Shikisai-no-oka also remains a useful orientation point when field colours are less obvious. Hokuryu’s crop field can look muted or brown during Winter conditions, while Shikisai-no-oka’s stripe pattern remains much easier to distinguish. For the active Summer #SunnySnap challenge, though, the sunflower field should stand out clearly as yellow.

Once you are in the correct field area, use the adjacent road or the farm’s southwest-side building as your staging point. Position the 2013 Wuling Sunshine S with a wide section of sunflowers behind it. A clean side-on or three-quarter angle is usually easier than pointing the van directly into the crops, because the farm needs to remain visibly identifiable in the frame.
D-pad Up Photo Mode input.Right Trigger on controller, rather than simply backing out of Photo Mode. The completion message should appear immediately after the valid capture. The Yellow Sports Sunglasses are added to your cosmetic inventory, while the playlist progress is credited to the active Summer tab.

#SunnySnap is one of the easier weekly photo challenges because the target has a huge map footprint, but it creates a few predictable false negatives. The farm is close to several fields, events, and other photo-related landmarks, so proximity alone does not satisfy the location condition.
Hokuryu Sunflower Farm is easier to identify on the map than many smaller photo landmarks, yet it is also easy to overshoot while driving because its event anchors sit outside the field itself. The map-first route removes that uncertainty: Hokubu Circuit establishes the north-south position, Irabuohashi Bridge establishes the east-west position, and Shikisai-no-oka confirms the final field.
The same approach is useful across the Festival Playlist. Forza Horizon 6 frequently places photo challenges near recognizable scenery while requiring a precise vehicle, as seen with challenges built around landmark framing or specific manufacturers. Treat the map feature as the destination and the nearby event icon as a transport shortcut, rather than assuming the event location is the objective.
