Forza Horizon 6: Find Nangan Treasure Hunt at Irokawa Space Center

The chest is positioned in the north/northeastern part of Irokawa Space Center’s upper-level runway area. Use the large rocket as the landmark, then move to the industrial structures immediately left of it; the breakable chest sits near the fuel tanks, pipes, and support buildings.

Requirements Before Searching

Open the Festival Playlist first and confirm that the Nangan Region Treasure Hunt is active for the British Automotive Festival Series — Spring season. The chest only functions while that Playlist activity is live.

• Leave any race, story event, or objective instance and return to normal free roam.
• Set a route to Irokawa Space Center in southern Nangan.
• Look for the site’s prominent rocket rather than searching the lower access roads around the complex.

The main failure point is elevation. The chest is inside the space-center complex on the upper runway/platform, not out in the surrounding southern Nangan terrain.

Nangan Treasure Hunt Location: Exact Route

Drive into Irokawa Space Center and climb onto the elevated runway or platform section. From there, face the rocket and approach the cluster of tanks and industrial equipment beside it. The chest is in the north/northeastern corner of this upper area, slightly left of the rocket when approaching from the runway.

1. Travel to Irokawa Space Center at the southern end of Nangan.
2. Enter the compound and reach the upper runway/platform instead of remaining on the exterior roads.
3. Drive toward the rocket at the end of the elevated area.
4. Before reaching the rocket itself, move into the factory-like section on its left.
5. Check around the fuel tanks, pipes, and nearby buildings in the north/northeastern corner.
6. Drive directly into the treasure chest to break it and claim the rewards.

There is no race to win, drift target to complete, or vehicle restriction attached to the final pickup. Once the current Nangan Treasure Hunt is active, contact with the chest completes it immediately.

Alternative Approach From the Runway

If fast travel has unlocked the runway area, spawn facing the rocket and drive toward the far end of the strip. Turn right shortly before the runway ends. This places the vehicle alongside the buildings and industrial hardware surrounding the rocket, which is the correct side of the complex for the chest.

This route is more reliable than circling the perimeter because the chest is partially screened by the space center’s equipment. The rocket identifies the correct landmark; the tanks and structures to its left identify the actual search zone.

Nangan Treasure Hunt Rewards

• 100,000 Credits: added immediately after the chest is destroyed.
• 5,000 XP: awarded for completing the Treasure Hunt.
• 3 Season Progress points: added to British Automotive Festival Series — Spring progression.

The 100,000 Credits and 5,000 XP are the direct chest rewards. The three Season Progress points are the part that matters for Playlist completion: they advance the active British Automotive Festival reward track, including the Lotus Esprit V8 and Lotus Emira seasonal rewards.

The wider British Automotive series also contains the 2025 Bentley Continental GT Speed at 80 points and the 2019 Aston Martin Valhalla Concept Car at 160 points across the full series. Three points will not transform the total on their own, but this is one of the fastest fixed-value Playlist activities because the chest requires only a short drive through a named landmark.

Why the Chest May Not Be There

• The Playlist hunt is inactive: check the Festival Playlist rather than continuing to search the space center.
• You are below the target area: move up onto the runway/platform and search beside the rocket, not the outer roads.
• You are searching the wrong side of the rocket: use the fuel-tank and pipe area to the rocket’s left as the final reference point.
• You are in an activity instance: exit to free roam before returning to Irokawa Space Center.

The Nangan Treasure Hunt is unavailable from 2:30pm UTC on June 25, when the British Automotive Festival season changes to autumn. Complete the chest before that rollover if the three Season Progress points are needed for the current reward track.
