SpongeBob Tower Defense
You need to be Level 10 before the Codes box exists, then it lives under Shop → Codes / Community Codes on the left of the screen. The codes below are the ones cross-confirmed as active across multiple July 2026 trackers. Every code from the game’s early days — ADOPTASPONGEBOB, TREASUREUNDERTHESEA, GoingRogue, Quick50, WereSoBackSBTD and the rest of that generation — is expired and has been dropped from every current list.

Note that GetGudKid, SpongeGar, SpongeHenge, PickMePLS, OneMoreCrate, EnergyAtZero and SaveOurKing are mixed case while the rest are all caps. Copy them exactly. Most reward listings just say “free rewards” because the actual mix — chests, gems, rerolls — only shows on redemption.
The Codes option is hidden until Level 10, and this is still the single most common reason people think the feature is broken. Estimates for how long it takes vary widely — roughly 10–15 minutes if you push through the tutorial and a few waves efficiently, closer to an hour if you are playing casually and your early pulls are poor.
To get there quickly:
Do not redeem anything before Level 10. You cannot, and trying is how people burn twenty minutes hunting a menu that is not there yet.
Older guides describe a standalone purple clam “Codes” icon on the left edge. That is the same feature — the button now routes into the Shop UI. If you are following a 2025 walkthrough and cannot find the clam, this is why.
Redeem reward codes the moment you have them — codes in this game rotate fast and hoarding them is how you lose them. Boost codes are the exception, because the timer starts on redemption whether you are playing or not.
The difference between good and bad code usage in this game is almost entirely about whether the boost timer overlapped with you actually playing.
Anything from the game’s 2024–early 2025 run is dead. That includes ADOPTASPONGEBOB, TREASUREUNDERTHESEA, ThatsAlotofChests, GoingRogue, Quick50, MericaDayBoi, BoosterMeCapn, WereSoBackSBTD, FreeExoticYay and GooLagoonIsSaved. None of them appear on any July 2026 tracker, and code sites that maintain historical lists file them under expired. Entering them returns an invalid-or-expired message.
As a rule of thumb: SpongeBob Tower Defense codes have a short shelf life, typically one to two weeks after release for event codes. Treat any list older than a month as archaeology.

Yes — it is still actively developed. WonderWorks is pushing new codes tied to events and patches, tracker lists were being revised as recently as mid-July 2026 with newly tested codes, and the batches of codes released through 2026 reference balance changes and reworks rather than just anniversary handouts. That is the signal you want: codes tied to patches mean patches are happening.

WonderWorks posts new codes to their official X account and the game’s Discord (linked from the Roblox experience page) before anyone else picks them up. Patch notes and event announcements go there too. Roundup sites, including this one, follow behind by hours to days.
If you want every code the moment it drops, join the Discord. If you want a periodically checked list, bookmark this page.
Level 10. This has not changed since launch and 2026 guides confirm it is still in place.
Yes, quickly. Event codes typically last one to two weeks. Redeem the moment you see one.
No. One redemption per account per code.
Different trackers test on different days and some carry stale entries under a fresh timestamp. The codes above are the ones that appear on more than one independently updated July 2026 list.
Yes. New codes were being added and verified as recently as mid-July 2026, alongside balance changes and reworks.
Get to Level 10 first, open Shop → Codes, and work down the list above starting with GetGudKid, CHALLENGEWON, NEWBEGINNINGS2 and RAINBOWMOUNTS — the four that every current tracker agrees on. Skip the 2024–2025 codes entirely. Then time your boost redemptions to the start of an actual play session and you will get more out of a single code than most players get out of five.
