Palworld’s First 1.0 Hotfix Targets the Bug Players Couldn’t Ignore

Palworld v1.0.1 fixes save-data discarding, campfire Burning issues, and PlayStation/Xbox errors after the game’s full 1.0 launch.

Nothing kills a long survival-game session like loading back in and finding progress missing. That is why Palworld’s first post-1.0 patch matters more than a routine cleanup: v1.0.1 addresses an issue that could unintentionally discard save data after certain actions, alongside targeted fixes for console errors and an odd campfire-related status effect.

Before returning to a serious world, players should confirm the game is running v1.0.1. On console and store listings, the update is labeled 1.100.619. Check the title screen or system menu rather than assuming an automatic update completed; an older cached build will not include the save-data fix. The patch does not establish that every possible save problem is eliminated, but it directly tackles the launch regression most worth avoiding before putting more hours into a base or character.

The practical retest is straightforward. Save and reload after normal play, then make sure the file remains usable. Around a campfire, the Burning status should no longer behave incorrectly. PlayStation 5 and Xbox players should also revisit the situations that previously caused platform-specific errors, including teleport-related freezes, after installing the patch. If the game has not updated, do not treat a clean session as proof the fix is active.

The urgency comes from the scale of Palworld 1.0, released on July 10, 2026. The full launch added 72 Pals, taking the roster to 287, raised the level cap to 85, and introduced Awakening and breeding-focused Mutation systems. Sunreach, a floating archipelago above the Palpagos Islands, expands the route toward the World Tree, while new story content, tower bosses, watchtowers, reworked sanctuaries, balancing, and audiovisual upgrades broaden the endgame.

Palworld has reached 40 million players across Steam, Game Pass, Xbox, PlayStation 5, and PC, but a huge 1.0 update needs dependable foundations. Install v1.0.1 first; then Sunreach is worth the trip.
