Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora follows globally on July 21, giving Extra and Premium members a major open-world game to start once the first wave has settled.

For players choosing one headline game, Rise of the Ronin is the shorter-term play: its 19th-century Japan setting and action-focused open world make it the clear first-wave anchor. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is the larger technical showcase, built around first-person exploration of Pandora and visual settings that have made it a demanding benchmark on capable hardware. The catalog listing is for the game itself; members should not assume the Season Pass is included.

July 21 also brings Firefighting Simulator: Ignite, a more specialized alternative for players after co-operative emergency-response simulation rather than another sprawling action game. That date is also the practical point to review the PlayStation Plus “Leaving Soon” section. Catalog games do not work like Monthly Games: adding an Extra or Premium title to a library does not preserve access after it leaves the service.
