The important distinction is that this is a complete content bundle, not a new Rain World overhaul. Akupara Games, developer VIDEOCULT, and physical-release partner Serenity Forge are packaging the demanding survival platformer with both major expansions — Downpour and The Watcher — on a PlayStation 5 disc or Nintendo Switch 2 cartridge.

Rain World Anthology is set for February 18, 2027. It follows a Slugcat separated from its family by a flood, forced to scavenge for food and shelter through a hostile, shifting ecosystem. The anthology gives console buyers one physical route to the base game and its two expansions rather than requiring separate purchases.

Two editions, one game package

The $59.99 USD entry edition is called the Standard Edition in some materials and the Premium Edition in others. Its extras are an illustrated inner coversheet, an embossed slipcover with new art, a holographic Slugcat sticker sheet, and a soundtrack download card redeemable on a computer or smartphone. Those bonuses are packaging collectibles; they do not add gameplay content beyond the anthology itself.

The $119.99 USD Collector’s Edition includes the same game bundle and standard extras, then adds a full-size knitted Slugcat scarf, art book, acrylic shaker standee, and acrylic keychain. That makes the upgrade a straight $60 premium for display and wearable items, rather than an incentive for players seeking exclusive levels or mechanics.

Rain World is already available digitally on PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Switch, and PC, but no technical upgrades, performance targets, patch notes, or physical-build version details have been announced for this release. The Switch 2 cartridge’s full on-cart content status has also not been detailed.
