The Forge
A chaotic co-op blacksmithing game where you and a friend forge weapons in the middle of a battlefield!
After sinking a couple dozen hours into The Forge grinding ores and praying for a good race roll, I eventually realized how important codes are. Missing just one reroll code early on meant being stuck with a mediocre race while everyone else was flexing busted passives and flying through the Crimson Sakura pre-update grind.
The headline right now is simple: the latest compensation code, DELAYCOMPENSATION, hands you 20 Race Rerolls plus 1 XP Totem. Alongside that, newer codes like SORRYFORDELAYY and CRIMSONSAKURA stack even more free spins on top. Used smartly, that’s enough to completely reroll your account’s race situation before the Crimson Sakura expansion really ramps up.
This guide breaks down every currently active code, shows exactly how to redeem them (on PC and mobile), explains why codes sometimes fail, and – most importantly – how to squeeze the most value out of those rerolls and your XP Totem.
Here are the codes I’ve personally redeemed recently that are still working as of late February 2026. Remember that codes can disappear without much warning, so don’t sit on these for too long.
CRIMSONSAKURA – 15 Race RerollsSORRYFORDELAYY – 10 Race RerollsDELAYCOMPENSATION – 20 Race Rerolls + 1 XP TotemA couple of important things I noticed while testing these:
delaycompensation worked the same as DELAYCOMPENSATION.If a code is valid and hasn’t expired, you’ll see a success message and the items will appear instantly in your reroll total / inventory. If it’s dead or mistyped, you’ll get a generic error along the lines of “code doesn’t exist.”
Don’t waste time trying these: they used to work but now return an error in-game. I tested a bunch of them just to be sure.

In-game they’re currently dead, so always trust the code bar result over any external list.

The redemption process is simple once you know where to look, but I actually spent my first evening clicking every UI icon except the one that mattered. Here’s the exact path so you don’t repeat that.
Type here. This is where you enter your code.DELAYCOMPENSATION) into that box. Capitalization doesn’t matter, but avoid extra spaces. On mobile, I found it safer to type codes manually rather than paste from outside apps – sometimes my phone would sneak in a space at the end and the game would reject the code. On PC, copy–paste works fine as long as you triple-check for hidden spaces.
The Forge’s races – human, goblin, dragonborn and others – affect your health, damage, mining speed, and more. The temptation is to blow every reroll chasing a “perfect” race, but that’s where I wasted the most time.
Here’s the reroll strategy that finally worked for me:
Think of your free rerolls as a limited resource to smooth your progression, not as a casino. Codes like CRIMSONSAKURA and DELAYCOMPENSATION give you enough spins to be picky, but not reckless.

The DELAYCOMPENSATION code’s sleeper MVP is the XP Totem. It’s a one-time consumable that noticeably speeds up your leveling while it’s active. The mistake I made was popping it “just to see what it does” when I only had 20 minutes to play.
Here’s how I recommend using it instead:
If you only take one thing away from this guide: don’t pop your XP Totem out of curiosity. Treat it like a mini event you schedule for yourself.
I’ve run into just about every error the code box can throw. Here are the most common causes and what to do about them.
DELAYCOMPENSATION are especially easy to miss.FREESPINS won’t work, cross-check with a fresher list or the game’s own announcements. The good news: The Forge doesn’t seem to lock codes behind level or group requirements based on my testing. If a code is active and correctly typed, it should work on any account.
After missing a couple of early codes, I changed how I track updates. The Forge’s devs don’t follow a strict schedule, but there is a pattern:

CRIMSONSAKURA are clearly tied to major content drops. Whenever you see “Expansion,” “Island,” or “Boss” in the update notes, check for a new code.100K!, 400K!, etc.). When the game hits a new round number on its Roblox page, it’s worth looking for a matching code.SORRYFORDELAYY and SORRYFORBUGS say it all. If the game has downtime or a rocky patch, keep an eye out for apology codes. My routine now is simple: every time I log in for a serious mining session – especially around weekends or update days – I check for new announcements, punch in any fresh codes, and only then start farming.
If you’re reading this around the Crimson Sakura expansion window, you’re in a sweet spot. Codes like DELAYCOMPENSATION, SORRYFORDELAYY, and CRIMSONSAKURA together give you a huge pile of free race rerolls and at least one powerful XP Totem to turbocharge your mining and combat grind.
Redeem the codes as soon as you can, use your rerolls intelligently instead of chasing perfection forever, and save that XP Totem for a focused grind session – ideally during a weekend boost or right as you dive into the new Crimson Sakura island and boss.
If I could redo my first week with The Forge, I’d start by grabbing every active code, locking in a strong race early, and planning my XP Totem session around upcoming events. Do that, and you’ll hit the new content in far better shape than I did.
