Why Unknown RNG Codes Matter After Update v1.25

After sinking way too many late nights into Unknown RNG, the thing that caught me off guard in Update v1.25 wasn’t a new aura or island – it was the code changes. Suddenly, the Codes menu stopped working on my low-roll alt, and half the “new” codes people were sharing refused to redeem until I had thousands of rolls on the account.

This guide pulls together everything I wish I had in one place right after v1.25 dropped:

  • A consolidated list of current Unknown RNG codes and what they give
  • The updated roll requirements, including the 1,000-roll unlock
  • Step-by-step redemption instructions with the new quirks
  • Troubleshooting for “invalid” codes that are actually just roll-gated
  • Tips for using potions, berries, and other freebies effectively

The examples and lists below reflect the state of Unknown RNG as of March 9, 2026, on Update v1.25. Codes change a lot in Roblox games, so treat this as a living reference rather than something permanent.

Understanding Roll Requirements in v1.25

The biggest change that trips players up in v1.25 is that codes are no longer “freebie for fresh accounts” tools. Tokyo Interactive has tied most of them to your total roll count, so you need to actually play before you can cash in the best rewards.

The 1,000-Roll Unlock for Codes

You now need over 1,000 rolls on your account before the game properly lets you redeem codes. If you try to enter codes too early, they simply will not work, even if they’re technically still active.

What finally made this click for me was checking my Total Rolls value and realizing my alt was stuck around 700 rolls. The same code worked fine on my main with ~12k rolls but “did nothing” on the alt. Once I pushed the alt past 1,000 rolls, the Codes menu behaved normally.

  • Grind until your Total Rolls stat is at least 1,000.
  • Only then start seriously testing codes – anything earlier is wasted effort.
  • Once you pass 1,000, the Codes button in the UI is worth using.

High-Roll Gates on Specific Codes

On top of the 1,000-roll baseline, some newer Unknown RNG codes are explicitly roll-gated. A chunk of v1.25 update codes require around 7,500 total rolls before they will redeem. Others are tied to even higher thresholds, and older community notes mention extreme cases like Frostfall being locked behind 70,000 rolls, although that high value has not been consistently verified for v1.25.

The important takeaway: when you see a working code reported but you get a generic “invalid” or “not working” message, do not assume it expired. In many cases your roll count is simply too low.

  • Baseline: 1,000+ total rolls needed before using any codes reliably.
  • Mid-tier gates: Some update codes require 7,500+ total rolls.
  • Very high gates: A few legacy or special codes are associated with 10k+, 40k+, or even 70k+ roll thresholds in community reports.

Because thresholds can shift between patches, always prioritize grinding rolls on the account you plan to main before worrying about clearing every single code.

Active & High-Priority Unknown RNG Codes (v1.25)

Below are the main codes you should focus on first in Update v1.25. These are either newly added or closely tied to the current content. Enter them exactly as written; codes are usually case-sensitive and punctuation-sensitive.

Newer 7,500+ Roll-Gated Update Codes

These codes are directly tied to recent content like island changes, PvP, aura reworks, and bug-fix waves. They typically grant potions, luck boosts, and other “free rewards”. They have been reported to require roughly 7,500+ total rolls:

  • NEWISLANDISAMAZING – Free rewards (roll-gated around 7,500+)
  • BIGUPDATEISTUFF – Free rewards (roll-gated around 7,500+)
  • MAPOVERHAUL – Free rewards (roll-gated around 7,500+)
  • DELAYSARESOANNOYING – Free rewards (roll-gated around 7,500+)
  • PVPISFINALLYHERE – Free rewards (roll-gated around 7,500+)
  • AURASELLING – Free rewards (roll-gated around 7,500+)
  • OrionIsPeak – Free rewards (roll-gated around 7,500+)
  • PixelsQuests – Free rewards (roll-gated around 7,500+)
  • UpdatePartone – Free rewards (roll-gated around 7,500+)
  • NEWAURAREWORKS – Free rewards (roll-gated around 7,500+)
  • BUGFIXESGALORE – Free rewards (roll-gated around 7,500+)
  • ???AURA – Free rewards (roll-gated around 7,500+)

These are the ones I save for when I plan a longer roll session. I redeem them just before burning through a chunk of spins so the potions and boosts they give line up with my grinding.

Other Current Content Codes

These codes are tied to specific content expansions or themes. Some may also be roll-gated; when in doubt, aim for several thousand total rolls first.

  • xtaleupdateisreal – Free rewards
  • truelabexpansion – Free rewards
  • weathers – Free rewards
  • ISLANDEXPANSION! – Grants a big stack of rolls (10,000 rolls listed as the reward)
  • ALLURES! – Roll reward (3,000 rolls listed as the reward)
  • ???QUEST – Roll reward (15,000 rolls listed as the reward)
  • SORRY4CHRISTMASQUESTS! – Large roll reward (40,000 rolls listed as the reward)
  • SlightDelayAgain – Roll reward (12,500 rolls listed as the reward)
  • Frostfall – Extremely high roll association (70,000 rolls noted historically; treat reports with caution in v1.25)

Codes that directly give rolls are incredibly strong for new accounts trying to reach the 1,000 or 7,500 thresholds. Try to use these at the start of a big grind window so nothing goes to waste.

General Free Reward & Potion Codes

The following codes lean more toward potions, auras, and crafting items rather than raw rolls. These are still very useful, especially if you care about min-maxing luck and crafting.

  • Sorry2! – Free rewards
  • Sorry! – 1 Dev Potion use and 1 Lightning Core
  • Release! – Free rewards (original launch code; may be limited)
  • delayrng! – Free rewards
  • SORRY4DELAY – Free rewards
  • 13MVisits – Free rewards
  • Christmas2025 – Free rewards
  • 22KLikes – Free rewards
  • SuperSeedy – Free rewards
  • UnknownRNGIsBack – Free rewards
  • COMEBACK – Free rewards
  • REWORK – Free rewards
  • 20KLIKES – Free rewards
  • FusingREMOVED – Free rewards
  • AURAREWORKS – Free rewards
  • UPDATE – Free rewards

  • UPDATEGOATED – Free rewards
  • 18KLIKES – Free rewards
  • DELAY – Free rewards
  • FusingUPDATE – Free rewards
  • 4thOfJuly – Free rewards
  • UPDHYPE – Free rewards

On top of that, there is a set of codes that give very specific items and potions:

  • UniTime – Universe Potion
  • eventboost – Celestial Potion
  • 5kLikes – Unknown Fruit
  • PveWHEN – Archaia Elixir
  • Friyay – Archaia Elixir
  • GlowDay – Unknown Fruit
  • 12kAgain – Archaia Elixir
  • 12klikes – Freebies
  • UniLife – 1 Universe Potion

  • Golded! – 1 Golden Apple
  • NewBiome – Lightning Core
  • lastone! – Freebies
  • UPDATE! – 1 Golden Apple
  • Thanks! – Aerial Elixir
  • 2kLikesCodeSoon – World Potion

One of the best early-game moments for me was chaining a Universe Potion and some Star Berries from these codes, then rolling until I pulled the StarZ aura (1 in 333 odds) way earlier than I had any right to. Used well, these rewards genuinely tilt the odds in your favor.

Legacy or Likely-Expired Codes

Roblox experiences regularly retire older codes. Launch codes, early-like milestones, and one-off apology codes are usually the first to go. Many of the entries above fall into that category; they are kept here for reference, but some may no longer redeem in v1.25.

If a code from the lists fails even when:

  • Your total rolls are high enough (well above 1,000)
  • You have typed it exactly as shown (correct case and punctuation)
  • You have tried a fresh server

then you can safely treat it as expired and move on. I keep “archive” codes bookmarked mostly to recognize when the developers recycle or tweak them later.

How to Redeem Codes in Unknown RNG

Once you have the required rolls, redeeming codes is straightforward, but the UI placement is easy to miss on a cluttered screen. Here is the exact flow I use:

  • Launch Unknown RNG on Roblox and load into a server.
  • Check your Total Rolls in the UI to confirm you are past 1,000 (and ideally past 7,500 for the newer update codes).
  • Look at the bottom-left corner of your screen, just above your money display.
  • Click the Codes button there to open the code redemption window.
  • Click the text box, then copy and paste a code from the lists above to avoid typos.
  • Press the Redeem button.
  • If the code is active and your account meets all requirements, the rewards drop into your inventory instantly.

If nothing appears to happen, scroll your chat or system messages; sometimes the game only gives a short “expired” or “invalid code” line there without a big pop-up.

Why Codes Fail (and How to Fix It)

I wasted a silly amount of time assuming codes were “fake” when the real problem was my setup. These are the most common failure points in Unknown RNG and how to work around them.

  • Not enough rolls: This is the big one in v1.25. Make sure you are over 1,000 total rolls, and for update codes, aim for 7,500+.
  • Typos and spacing: Extra spaces, missing exclamation marks, or incorrect capitalization will break a code. Always copy-paste from a trusted list.
  • Expired codes: Older milestone codes, especially “Release!”, “LastCode!”, and similar, are often time-limited.
  • Out-of-date server: New codes sometimes only work on servers running the latest build. Leave to the main Roblox menu and rejoin to force a newer instance.
  • Already redeemed: Most codes are single-use per account. If you have been playing for a while, you may simply have claimed them months ago.

When a code does not work, I run down this checklist: rolls > spelling > new server. Only after that do I mark it as likely expired in my own notes.

Getting More Codes (& Using Rewards Smartly)

Unknown RNG does not follow a strict public schedule for new codes, but patterns from past updates are pretty clear:

  • Major updates: Big content drops like map overhauls, guilds, or aura reworks almost always come with at least one new code.
  • Holiday events: Seasonal codes like Christmas2025 show up around real-world events.
  • Milestones: Watch for like/visit milestones such as 5kLikes, 12klikes, or 22KLikes.
  • Apologies & shutdowns: Codes like SuperShutdown, QuickShutdown, and various “SORRY” codes appear after bugs or downtime.

The most reliable way I have found to stay ahead of code drops is to remain active in the Unknown RNG community: check their social channels, keep an eye on announcements, and watch for messages from Tokyo Interactive about updates and maintenance.

As for the rewards themselves, a few habits make a big difference:

  • Stack luck boosts: Combine Universe Potions, Celestial Potions, and Star Berries right before a focused rolling session. That is how I pushed for the StarZ aura much faster than pure raw grinding.
  • Do not waste timers: Avoid popping timed potions if you are about to log off or get distracted. I only redeem my strongest potions when I know I can stay in-game for their full duration.
  • Save crafting items: Lightning Cores, Polar Shards, and rare fruits are better used once you understand the meta you want to chase rather than burning them randomly on day one.

Once you get past the roll gates and understand how the codes layer with your auras and potions, the game opens up dramatically. If a code list ever feels overwhelming, just focus on the high-roll update codes first, then work your way down through the potion and berry rewards at your own pace.
