Total War: Shogun 2 Complete Edition, the remaster of the 2011 game with all the DLC and new visuals, launched on October 13. Two days later Sega and Creative Assembly said they're removing it from sale. Players found bugs, some of them old ones, and some of the new art looks off. There's a samurai whose face and helmet blend into one metal texture, and players think it's AI upscaling. That hasn't been confirmed. Steam reviews went Overwhelmingly Negative. Sega's statement says the game "has fallen short of both your expectations and our own standards." They're bringing the original Shogun 2 back, and if you bought the remaster you keep access to it. The catch: the original was taken off sale before the remaster came out, so for a few days the remaster was the only version you could buy. #totalwar #shogun2 #sega #creativeassembly #pcgaming #gamingnews #shorts
