WoW Midnight Season 2: Season 1 rewards and teleports to finish first

Midnight Season 2 will retire some Season 1 rewards and make several Mythic+ goals, including +10 dungeon teleports, far less efficient to complete.

The key distinction is between rewards that disappear and goals that simply become much more inconvenient. Players close to a Mythic+ rating breakpoint or a current raid clear should use the remaining Season 1 time on that progress, rather than spending prime lockouts on evergreen collections.

Prioritize rewards that are truly seasonal

Season-bound raid achievements sit at the top of the list. Ahead of the Curve and Cutting Edge-style objectives require current-season final-boss kills, while associated cosmetics and raid-specific rewards may not return once the season changes. Remaining raid lockouts are also the practical time to target missing tier appearances and other boss drops, and to use Catalyst charges that still help complete the current set.

PvP has the clearest permanent cutoff. Gladiator-tier rewards, Elite appearances, and certain seasonal titles are tied to Season 1. Rating goals should come before optional cosmetics, and remaining PvP currency should be checked before the reset changes its value or availability.

Mythic+ is the major “harder later” category

Keystone Master, Keystone Legend, Keystone Myth, and Umbral Champion are the key Mythic+ milestones to assess before Season 2. The 2,000-rating Master and 3,000-rating Legend mount tiers are especially time-sensitive, while higher-end rewards should be pursued only when a group is already within realistic reach.

Mythic+ 10 dungeon teleports are not necessarily lost forever, but Season 2 resets the competitive environment and rotates the dungeon pool. That removes the value of current routes, group momentum, and familiarity. For regular key runners, a teleport push now is a long-term convenience play, not merely a prestige target.

Delves follow a similar split: Seasonal Nemesis achievements and their mounts need attention before the next Delves season, while general exploration and collection achievements can usually wait unless explicitly marked seasonal. The immediate watchpoint is the Season 2 launch date and any final Blizzard clarification on reward cutoffs.
