After running through the men’s and women’s MyRise stories in WWE 2K26 (and starting a third “cleanup” save), the big takeaway is that this year’s mode is much leaner than 2K25. Instead of four full career runs, you’re looking at a maximum of three to grab every chapter reward and Live Event unlock, and only six main story chapters per run.
Two things matter if you want everything without wasting time:
This guide lays out every chapter reward and Live Event milestone, then walks through the play order and in-ring tactics I used to finish all the major unlocks in three playthroughs instead of four.
MyRise in WWE 2K26 is split into two division stories:
On top of that you have just two personality “archetypes” this year:
Your choices in key conversations at chapter transitions decide whether you trend Face or Heel. Pure runs (staying Face all the way, or Heel all the way) unlock the most content. You can flip sides mid-story, but that just means you’ll have to do another playthrough to pick up what you missed on the first half.
There’s a minor wrinkle: some outlets have mentioned seven chapters, but in the launch build I’ve been playing, the rewards track is clearly structured around six chapters, which is what this guide uses.
If you’re a completionist, this is the most efficient order that’s worked for me:
If you stick to your alignment choices and don’t skip side matches, each full run took me about 8–12 hours, including Live Events. Now let’s break down exactly what you get in each chapter so you can decide which run to prioritize first.
Below are all chapter rewards, grouped by chapter, gender, and alignment. Unless otherwise stated, these unlock for all save files once you’ve earned them once.

Tip: Because Chapter 1 has so many alignment-specific characters, it’s a great place to lock in your “pure Face” or “pure Heel” decision for that save.

This chapter is why I recommend doing one pure Face and one pure Heel run: the alternate championships, Paybacks, and attire sets are some of the best cosmetic rewards in the entire mode.

Live Events are no longer just a side distraction. Each chapter expects you to earn a certain number of match stars in Live Events to move the story forward, and all those stars also feed into a long global track that unlocks extra wrestlers, arenas, MyFaction cards, and CAW parts.
Here’s the full list of rewards by total Live Event stars earned across all playthroughs:
Because these totals are shared across saves, your three-playthrough plan naturally feeds this list. By the time I finished my second full run, I was already deep into the DDP / Bray Wyatt tier without needing to grind random matches.

Stars are based on the usual WWE 2K logic: match length, move variety, drama, near-falls, and big moments. The trick is to hit chapter requirements while also farming toward the big 150–200 star milestones.
Here’s the approach that’s consistently given me 4–5 star Live Event matches:
I also recommend keeping a mental note of where you are on the Live Event list (for example, aiming for that 103-star Scott Steiner tier) and planning one or two extra Live Events between story beats if you’re close to a big unlock.
WWE 2K26 trims MyRise down to six chapters, two alignments, and two division stories, but between chapter rewards and Live Event milestones there’s still a lot to chase. To make your time count, build your plan around these priorities:
Keep your alignment consistent, stretch Live Event matches to 8–10 minutes with varied offense and near-falls, and you’ll finish MyRise with a stacked roster, a pile of MyFaction cards, and a deep CAW toolbox long before the grind starts to feel heavy.
