Why Zero to Hero Codes Matter Right Now

After spending my first 10-15 hours in Roblox Zero to Hero slowly grinding my way up, I massively underestimated how important codes were. I ignored them at first, then watched newer players blast past me in power just because they’d redeemed a few time-limited codes I’d missed. The breakthrough came when I finally used the latest batch of codes on March 1, 2026 and suddenly had a mountain of Gems, Dungeon Coins, and OP Potions to work with.

This guide walks you through every working Zero to Hero code I’ve personally tested, how to redeem them step-by-step, common problems (and how to fix them), plus some quick advice on how to spend your new currency so you don’t waste it. If you redeem everything here in one sitting, you can easily jump several hours ahead of the normal early-game grind.

All Working Zero to Hero Codes (March 2026)

Below are the codes that were working for me as of March 1, 2026. Codes in Roblox games can expire without warning, so redeem these as soon as you can.

Active Zero to Hero Codes

  • UPDATE2!!! – Grants a bundle of OP Potions (new with Update 2)
  • SORRYFORTHERESET – Grants around 550,000 Gems (reset compensation)
  • UPDATE1 – Grants about 3,000 Dungeon Coins

All three worked on a fresh server for me on March 1. I had one failed attempt with UPDATE2!!! on an older server, but as soon as I server-hopped (more on that below), it went through and dumped the potions into my inventory.

You may see older codes like RELEASE, MINIUPDATE1, or similar listed in old videos or guides. When I tried them recently, they all showed as expired. If you want to test them yourself, go ahead, but don’t be surprised if they no longer work.

What Each Reward Is Good For

  • Gems (SORRYFORTHERESET) – Your main premium currency. In practice, this is what you’ll mainly spend on recruiting stronger warriors and other high-impact upgrades. A 550k head start is huge for a fresh account.
  • Dungeon Coins (UPDATE1) – These are tied to dungeon-related content. I treat them as a “don’t waste these” currency and save them for better gear or upgrades rather than small purchases.
  • OP Potions (UPDATE2!!!) – Limited-use consumables that give powerful temporary boosts (check each potion’s tooltip in your inventory to see exactly what it does). I save these for harder dungeons or boss fights instead of blowing them on easy farming.

Don’t make my early mistake of yolo-spending everything just because “it’s free.” With a bit of planning, this single batch of codes can carry you through a big chunk of the early and mid-game.

How to Redeem Codes in Zero to Hero (Step-by-Step)

The code system in Zero to Hero is pretty straightforward, but there are a couple of UI quirks worth knowing. Here’s the exact process I use on both PC and mobile.

Step 1 – Open the in-game menu

Once you’ve loaded into the game world:

  • Look at the left side of your screen.
  • Tap or click the three horizontal lines (≡) button – this is the main menu.

On my first day I kept hunting for a “Codes” button directly on the screen and assumed the game just didn’t have codes yet. All of it is tucked away behind this three-line menu.

Step 2 – Go to the Shop

Inside that menu, you’ll see several icons. You want the one labeled Shop:

  • Click / tap Shop.
  • This opens the in-game store interface.

Depending on your device and resolution, the layout might shift a bit, but the important thing is that the code box is part of this Shop screen.

Step 3 – Enter your code

On the Shop screen, look for a text field that says something like “Redeem Code…” and a blue Claim button beside or below it.

  • Click in the Redeem Code… text box.
  • Copy and paste the code from this guide (or type it very carefully).
  • Press the blue Claim button.

If the code is active and you’ve entered it correctly, you’ll see a quick confirmation and your rewards will appear instantly (Gems/Dungeon Coins update in your UI; potions land in your inventory).

If nothing happens or you see an error, don’t panic yet-that’s where the next section comes in.

Why Your Zero to Hero Codes Might Not Work (and Fixes)

I’ve run into pretty much every error possible while redeeming these. Before you assume a code is dead, run through this quick checklist.

1. Check for typos and capitalization

Zero to Hero’s codes are case-sensitive, and extra spaces can break them too.

  • Always copy and paste codes instead of typing them out.
  • Make sure you don’t grab any trailing spaces – especially if you’re copying from chat or a description.
  • Match punctuation exactly: UPDATE2!!! really does have three exclamation marks.

I wasted a good five minutes early on wondering why UPDATE2!! “didn’t work” before realizing I was missing the third exclamation point.

2. The code might be expired

Codes in Roblox games often have a short lifespan, especially compensation codes like SORRYFORTHERESET. If you get a clear “expired” or “invalid” message even after double-checking spelling, the code is likely gone for good.

This is why I recommend redeeming codes the same day you find them. Leaving them “for later” is how I missed some early launch codes that could’ve saved me hours of grinding.

3. You’re on an outdated server

This is the sneaky one. Sometimes a brand-new code won’t work on older servers that haven’t fully updated yet. When Update 2 dropped, I had UPDATE2!!! fail repeatedly on one server but work instantly on another.

  • Exit the game completely.
  • Rejoin through the Roblox game page to get placed in a fresh server.
  • Try redeeming the code again right away.

If you’re on PC, you can also use the server list to deliberately pick a newer, less populated server. In my experience, those tend to be on the latest version and accept new codes more reliably.

4. Double-redeeming a code

Each code can only be used once per account. If you’re not sure whether you already used a specific code, try it anyway-worst case you get an error message. I keep a tiny note file where I mark used codes so I don’t second-guess myself later.

Smart Ways to Spend Your Gems, Coins, and Potions

Once I finally grabbed all three main codes, the temptation was to splurge immediately. What actually worked better was planning out my spending so the bonuses carried me longer.

Gems (from SORRYFORTHERESET)

  • Prioritize recruiting stronger warriors over cosmetic or low-impact purchases.
  • Focus on building a balanced team instead of chasing only your favorite anime characters.
  • Avoid burning all 550k Gems in one go-leave a buffer for when a new banner or meta character drops.

What finally worked for me was doing a few big recruitment sessions, then pausing and actually playing with that team for a while. That let me see which roles I was still missing before spending more.

Dungeon Coins (from UPDATE1)

Dungeon Coins are much rarer in normal play, so I treat them like a premium resource.

  • Save them for permanent upgrades or high-tier items rather than cheap consumables.
  • Check the dungeon shop carefully—some offers are just not worth it compared to others.
  • Think long-term: what will still help you several hours from now?

Don’t make my mistake of grabbing a couple of flashy but minor items; the early boost felt good for 10 minutes, then I regretted not saving for better gear.

OP Potions (from UPDATE2!!!)

OP Potions are your “break glass in case of emergency” items. Hover over each one in your inventory to read the exact buff (damage, XP, luck, etc.) and duration.

  • Use them on tough dungeons, bosses, or new content where you’re slightly underpowered.
  • Stack them with other boosts when you know you’ll be grinding for 20–30 minutes straight.
  • Avoid using them while you’re just casually wandering or AFK—they’re too valuable for that.

The best sessions I’ve had were when I popped an OP Potion right before a focused grind: I’d clear dungeons faster, earn more currency, and actually feel the impact of the limited-time boost.

When New Zero to Hero Codes Usually Drop

Zero to Hero’s developer doesn’t follow a strict calendar for codes, but based on how UPDATE1, UPDATE2!!!, and SORRYFORTHERESET showed up, there are some clear patterns:

  • Major updates: Big patches (like Update 1 and 2) almost always come with at least one new code.
  • Compensation events: SORRYFORTHERESET is a perfect example—huge Gem drop to make up for a reset or major change.
  • Holidays and special events: It’s common for Roblox games to drop limited-time codes during seasonal events.
  • Milestones: Player or like-count milestones sometimes trigger celebratory codes.

Because there’s no official “every Friday” type schedule, the safest move is to quickly check for new codes whenever you see the game has updated on Roblox.

How to Stay Up to Date Without Wasting Time

Here’s what I do now so I don’t miss big drops like SORRYFORTHERESET again:

  • Favorite / Follow the game on Roblox: This makes it easier to notice when the game updates, which is your cue to check for new codes.
  • Read the game description after big patches: Codes are often pasted directly there for a while.
  • Glance at recent community posts or game social links: If the devs have a group, Discord, or X/Twitter linked, that’s where new codes tend to get teased first.
  • Check guide update dates: If you use external guides, make sure they’ve been updated recently; old lists are usually full of expired codes.

I limit myself to a quick 1–2 minute check when I log in on patch days—enough to catch new codes without falling into an endless search rabbit hole.

Quick Recap

  • Current working codes (tested March 1, 2026): UPDATE2!!! (OP Potions), SORRYFORTHERESET (≈550k Gems), UPDATE1 (≈3,000 Dungeon Coins).
  • Redeem path: Three-lines menu (left) → Shop → "Redeem Code…" box → Claim.
  • If a code fails: Double-check spelling, watch capitalization and punctuation, then try a fresh server. If it still errors, it’s probably expired.
  • Use your rewards wisely: Focus Gems on team strength, save Dungeon Coins for big upgrades, and reserve OP Potions for difficult content or focused grind sessions.
  • Watch for new codes: Major updates, compensation events, and holidays are your best bet for fresh freebies.

If I’d known all this from the start, I would’ve saved myself hours of slow progress. Redeem these codes while they’re active, plan your spending, and you’ll feel the difference immediately in how fast your Zero to Hero account powers up.
