Female Video Game Characters Anyone Would Like to Date

Ever played a video game and wished you could date certain characters? We believe this idea is common among many generations of gamers as most of us have a few female game characters we really fancy and would love to date or at least have a fling with. Gamers, movie enthusiasts and book readers, all of us who love to explore worlds outside this one. We can relate to characters we like, and some can even fall in love with fictional characters. That’s all ok, let your imagination run wild.

Thanks to cosplay and the huge gaming community, everyone can connect with like-minded individuals resembling our beloved characters. Before jumping into the list of captivating female game characters, let’s talk about how to find potential partners who are also gaming enthusiasts.

Online Dating as a Way to Meet a Person of your Dreams

If you go to a bar and tell someone you think they would look fantastic dressed as Lara Croft, what do you think their reaction would be? Probably not great. Just to keep it real, your chances are slim even if you do that online (but it would probably hurt less if you’re behind a screen).

But online dating isn’t only less painful, it also allows you to filter out the people who share your interests. It lets everyone find like-minded people, which boosts their chances of getting matches. Local sites for casual dating make the search easier because people there don’t have to guess if their matches are in the area, or if they want to start a serious relationship.

If you’re into that, there are specialized hookups near me sites where singles don’t mind casual dates, and if you check out profile descriptions you will see that many members like video games. This could be enough to break the ice and send that first message, and chat about their favorite titles. From there things usually move to video chats, and eventually offline.

While you’re chatting away, we’ve curated a list of female characters that would make everyone’s head turn, so scroll down and enjoy.

Lara Croft (Tomb Raider)

When people say they’d love to date Lara Croft, they rarely think of the PS1 version of the video game protagonist. Even the 2024 remastered version doesn’t do her justice. Of course, the graphics are to blame for arguably low UX. But don’t forget she was among the first really cool female protagonists in action games. Pretty, smart, adventurous and fearless – millions of people have dreamt of landing a date with the female version of Indiana Jones.

Aloy (Horizon)

Aloy from Horizon is a beacon of female strength and attractiveness, especially for younger generations. She’s riding robotic animals and dinosaurs, fighting evil AI, and exploring the post-apocalyptic world. What else could a person want?

Her attributes and all the outfits are just an added bonus that will help those who love cosplay enjoy dressing up as Aloy.

Elizabeth (Bioshock)

Elizabeth from Bioshock is enigmatic, captivating, strong and resilient. She’s not just a great role model, but also a character that will tickle your fantasy thanks to those drop dead gorgeous costumes: Student, Noir, and Corset. It almost feels like they wanted to create a character ideal for cosplay.

Benedikta (Final Fantasy XVI)

Benedikta, the first boss of Final Fantasy XVI isn’t considered only physically attractive, but also has the energy of a super-villain you can’t help but admire.

Her loyalty to her king and cruelty to everyone else are equally hot. The story of her relationships with men like Cid, Kupka or King Barnabas only shows that she is a real badass who is prone to love and other feelings besides convenient situationships.

Jill Valentine (Resident Evil)

Jill is one of the original members of the elite S.T.A.R.S. Alpha team and she navigates through nightmarish scenarios with determination and courage. She can be both a blonde and a brunette, for those into hair color cosplay. Her absence is the only real downside of last year’s Resident Evil 4 Remake (though perfectly understandable based on the plot of the original games).

Bayonetta (Bayonetta)

Bayonetta may possess The Left Eye of Darkness, but she is a goddess. Add a brutal, yet graceful fighting style, superhuman strength, and endurance, and it’s clear why people keep putting her on the lists of the hottest video game characters.

Do you agree that those are the six female video game characters most people would love to date? Or do you have a different one in mind?
