Arc Raiders
ARC Raiders is a multiplayer extraction adventure, set in a lethal future earth, ravaged by a mysterious mechanized threat known as ARC. Enlist as a Raider and…
You want Ship Models, and you keep getting told to “just loot Riven Tides” without anyone saying which buildings, which containers, or whether the map even matters. Here is the real answer: Ship Models are random trinket drops with their highest concentration on Riven Tides, and the fastest farm is a single raid that stacks Beachcombing caches with one dense residential interior, Hotel Panorama Azzurro.
Ship Models are trinkets, not combat gear and not a normal crafting material. They matter for the Miniature Voyages / Last Resort event cycle and for the Avian Alarm project. You can sell them for coins, but if you are still working through that project or the event rewards, selling early is a mistake — this is the kind of item that looks like vendor junk right up until a project asks for it. If Avian Alarm is your goal, pair this farm with the Avian Alarm bird trap guide so you finish the whole project in one push.
There are exactly five Ship Models, each at a different rarity:
Rarity changes how often a model appears, not where you farm. You do not chase a separate location for each one. You run the same high-density routes and accept that common and uncommon pieces show up far more often than rare, epic and legendary ones.

Riven Tides is the farm. Ship Models are not Riven Tides-exclusive — they drop in residential areas and containers across Buried City, Blue Gate, Dam Battlegrounds and Spaceport too — but Riven Tides carries the highest concentration, and more importantly it gives you two strong loot patterns in one run: beach cache access and dense residential search spots. Farming collectibles in ARC Raiders is a volume game, and Riven Tides maximizes rolls per raid.
The two locations that carry a run are:
Hotel Panorama Azzurro works because Ship Models favor the searchable furniture that residential spaces are full of: drawers, cabinets, shelves, lockers, dressers. A hotel packs dozens of those into one building, which beats wandering low-density outdoor areas hoping for a loose drop. If you are still learning the map, the same loop overlaps the Battening Down route on Riven Tides, so you can knock out both in a single trip.
When Beachcombing is the active map condition on Riven Tides, that is your signal to do a Ship Model run — beach caches are the highest-value source available in one raid.

This route stacks the two best Ship Model sources — Beachcombing caches and residential container density — inside one raid, which is what makes it the fast farm rather than just “loot a lot.”
Container type matters more than most players expect. Prioritize residential loot containers over generic industrial sweeps:
Ship Models behave like collectible trinket loot, and that fits residential spaces far better than machine rooms or sparse utility buildings. Ten searchable hotel rooms beat a long industrial detour with a handful of meaningful containers.

Higher-rarity models are rarer drops, not separate spawn points. Do not panic if your first few hotel clears only produce Wind Sprites and Twilight Compasses — that is the expected shape of the drop pool. The smart play is to optimize for more rolls, not for an imaginary “legendary-only” spot. In practice that means fast runs through proven areas beat slow, overly careful searches of weak zones.
You can still farm without the ideal condition. Fall back to the reliable core of the route: Riven Tides → Hotel Panorama Azzurro → surrounding residential interiors. That leans on the densest indoor loot environment on the map rather than a timed mechanic.
Run Riven Tides, do your Ship Model runs when Beachcombing is active, and work the order: Dockmaster’s Detector beach caches first, Hotel Panorama Azzurro second, nearby residential interiors third. The map is not exclusive, but it has the best concentration and the best one-raid loot stack — so it is where you farm. Keep every model until Avian Alarm and the Miniature Voyages / Last Resort cycle are done, then sell the spares.
