Arc Raiders
ARC Raiders is a multiplayer extraction adventure, set in a lethal future earth, ravaged by a mysterious mechanized threat known as ARC. Enlist as a Raider and…
The Powered Descender Blueprint is one of the most-farmed crafting unlocks in ARC Raiders, and the fastest way to get it is to stop treating it like a quest reward. It is a scavenging drop. The blueprint was introduced with Riven Tides and is farmed there heavily, so that is where you run — ideally during a Night Raid, hitting the two best high-loot zones, Port Authority and Hotel Panorama Azzurro.
Learn and Consume on the blueprint in Speranza before you even think about selling it.PC and console players follow the exact same route, because this is a loot-table problem, not a platform-specific one.
The biggest time-waster here is treating the Powered Descender like a quest unlock. It is not. The blueprint comes from the general blueprint loot pool, and it was introduced with Riven Tides, which is why that map is the efficient place to farm it. It is not technically exclusive to Riven Tides — players have pulled it from other locations such as the Buried City — but the drop is weighted and farmed heavily enough on Riven Tides that, if your goal is speed, you should treat it as the only map worth queuing.
There is no quest gate on the Powered Descender Blueprint. That matters because chasing objectives does not improve the drop chance. This is a volume game: the more high-value containers you open in the best zones, the faster you hit the drop.
If Riven Tides is the right map, the Night Raid is the right version of it. Night Raids increase blueprint drop chances — community testing describes the bump as roughly doubled — and they push more higher-tier loot into the world. The exact multiplier is player-reported rather than an official drop table, but the direction is consistent: nighttime runs are the better use of your time.
That trade is worth taking even though the combat pressure is higher. The blueprint is rare enough that quiet, low-density scavenging is usually slower than a richer Night Raid, simply because you open fewer good containers per run. If a run offers safe-but-thin loot versus a Night Raid with denser, higher-tier loot, take the Night Raid.

The two names to remember are Port Authority and Hotel Panorama Azzurro. These are the Riven Tides loot locations most consistently tied to strong blueprint farming. They are high-loot zones with the container density that makes RNG farming tolerable instead of miserable.
Inside both, the keyed rooms hold the higher-quality containers. That is the single most useful detail for this farm: locked interior spaces give you access to better containers that other players and other route patterns may never touch, so they are worth the key investment. It does not mean any specific shelf is a guaranteed spawn — the blueprint can land in ordinary scavenging containers too — but the odds and item quality behind a locked door are simply better.
If you spawn closer to one hotspot, go there first rather than crossing the map to follow a fixed script. The blueprint does not care which named zone you start with, only how many good containers you clear before extraction.
The route is not complicated, but it takes discipline. Go in with enough inventory space to keep a rare blueprint if it drops, and do not clutter your pack with junk early. Head to the nearest of Port Authority or Hotel Panorama Azzurro, clear the interior, open keyed rooms, and loot every realistic container before moving on. If the first hotspot is quiet, rotate to the second. If the lobby turns into a firefight, take what you have and extract — a strong run is worth more than a greedy wipe.

The common mistake is overcommitting to only the flashiest containers. Because the blueprint comes from the general loot pool, it can show up in ordinary scavenging containers as well. High-loot zones matter because they give you more chances and better item quality overall, not because there is a single magic crate. Check the unglamorous shelves and side-room boxes after you have cleared the obvious path.

Ultimate Guide Strategy Guide + Weekly Pro Tips
When the Powered Descender Blueprint drops, do not treat it like ordinary sellable loot. Extract with it, return to Speranza, select the blueprint, and choose Learn and Consume. That permanently unlocks the crafting recipe for your account.
Blueprints can be sold for credits, and this one sells for 5,000 credits — but that only matters for duplicates. Selling your first copy before learning it turns one lucky run into another grind session. Learn first, sell extras later.
Once it is learned, you craft the Powered Descender at a Level 3 Utility Station. Every source agrees on one ingredient and disagrees on the other count:

The Turbine Compressor is the easy half: it is a guaranteed drop from Arc Turbines — one sits in the main compartment — and it can also drop (randomly, not guaranteed) from Arc Couriers. Bringing down a Turbine is its own small fight, so it helps to know the safe approach before you go. See our guide on how to destroy the Arc Turbine for the weak point and weapon picks.
Power Rods are looted at the power-generation complex on Dam Battlegrounds and at other “Electrical” locations. Because the materials are reliable, the real bottleneck is the blueprint, not the recipe. Split the work into two phases: first farm the blueprint on Riven Tides Night Raids, then — once it is learned — pivot to clean material runs for the Turbine Compressor and Power Rods.
If RNG refuses to cooperate, there is a non-loot alternative. Scavenging-pool blueprints — the Powered Descender among them — can be unlocked as Trial rewards in Speranza. It will not always be available, so do not stop farming Riven Tides waiting on it, but it is worth checking between raids because it can bypass the container grind entirely. If you are already running Riven Tides quests, a walkthrough like Safe Harbor on Riven Tides will help you learn the same map you are farming.
Learn and Consume before thinking about the 5,000 credits. The cleanest way to get the Powered Descender Blueprint in ARC Raiders is to treat it as a focused Riven Tides scavenging farm: run Night Raids, hit Port Authority and Hotel Panorama Azzurro, spend keys on the locked rooms that hold the best containers, and open more containers than the average player does. When it drops, unlock it immediately in Speranza with Learn and Consume, then craft it at a Level 3 Utility Station with a Turbine Compressor from Arc Turbines (or, with luck, an Arc Courier) and your Power Rods. The blueprint is random, but the route to it is not.
